Technical documentationOilSys is a system designed for the installation of a liquid ring vacuum pump with full recirculation, which uses mineral oil (or similar) as the working fluid to guarantee maximum flow rates and vacuum performance higher than that allowed for water. It consists of:
The gas treated by the vacuum pump is discharged together with some of the working oil into a special frame, which acts as a gas/oil separator and allows to separate any condensates being pumped from the oil. After cooling through the heat exchanger, the oil is returned to the vacuum pump by a circulation pump.
The gas is released after filtering any oil through a specially designed oil mist filter. A pressure gauge on the filter housing will indicate excess pressure when the oil mist filter is clogged and needs to be replaced.
