These pumps are used in the following cases:
- the liquid to be dosed contains a small amount of suspended solids;
- the liquid to be dosed is toxic;
- a drip-proof/tight design is required;
- high pressure is not required.
Each pump is equipped with a standard gearbox system and a vertically mounted B14 MEC profiled electric motor.
The motor power is typically 0.09 kW, 4 poles: 3 phases 230/400 50/60 Hz, 1 phase 230V/50 Hz or 110V/60 Hz.
As the motors meet the technical requirements of UNEL-MEC, there are many alternative options available, including different voltages, frequencies and insulation classes, while explosion-proof designs are not permitted.
The gearbox has standard endless screw and worm wheel, with bearings completely immersed in oil.
The stroke length adjustment mechanism is a positive direct stroke, spring return type, actuated by an eccentric; this forces the diaphragm forward (discharge phase) for the entire stroke length, while a spring in constant tension causes the diaphragm to return (suction phase).
Max. capacity: 14 (FM 050-30); 47 (FM 050-50).
Max. pressure: 10 (FM 050-30); 5 (FM 050-50).
