The impeller for horizontal pumps can be made of the following materials:

Seal type:
PEMO horizontal pumps have several types of seals:
- Single mechanical seal;
- Double mechanical seal;
- All mechanical seals in horizontal pumps are made of tungsten carbide (Widia) or silicon dioxide carbide.
Features:
- Low maintenance costs;
- Pump-motor connection: V-belts or flexible coaxial connection (coupling);
- All mechanical seals are made of tungsten carbide (Widia) or silicon dioxide carbide;
- Lubrication of mechanical seals based on the supply of flushing water at normal pressure or
oil using a closed circuit with natural or forced circulation;
- Bearing lubrication is made with grease or liquid oil.

Drive - V-belt:
- AO;

Drive - direct connection with a flexible coupling:
- AO-AD;
- AO/TD-AD;
- AO/AB-AD.
AO and AO-AD series:
- These are "standard" front-entry horizontal pumps;
- Since there is only one mechanical seal, these models are only used for pumping water or liquids with a very low (almost non-existent) content of abrasive particles;
- The maximum available pressure does not exceed 2 bar (29 psi);
- There is a limited production per year for this series.
AO/TD and AO/TD-AD series:
- These are horizontal pumps with front inlet and double mechanical seal;
- They can be used for pumping abrasive and/or acidic liquids;
- The maximum pressure should not exceed 3-4 bar (43-58 psi).
AO/AB and AO/AB-AD series:
- One of the most popular pumps manufactured by Perissinotto SpA. Thanks to the side inlet, it has a good location of the mechanical seal, and the effect of the pressure of the pumped liquid on it, which significantly increases the service life of the pump;
- When pumping liquids and acids, the shaft and the mechanical seal of the housing can be made of special alloys.
