Warning: If a pump uses bushing a PTFE, ceramic or silicon carbide sleeve, it cannot run dry without causing damage to the pump. It is recommended to use dry-running protection. However, the pump can run dry if equipped bushing from carbon. The exact length of time a pump can run dry with a bushing carbon depends on the operating conditions and the environment.
Construction:
- Corrosion resistant polypropylene (82°C) or PVDF (104°C);
- Rare earth magnets;
- cam O-rings and other options;
- Carbon, ceramic, Teflon, carborundum (not used for DB3, 4, 5);
- TEFC, Chem Duty, EXP and 575V NEMA or IEC motors;
- ISO 1940 G2.5 balancing (except DB3, 4, 5);
- Threaded, socketed and flanged connections;
- Threaded connections only for DB3, 4, 5.
