IM vertical centrifugal pumps are available in plastic, polypropylene (PP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). IM pumps are characterized by high efficiency, are suitable for stationary installations (the pump is immersed directly in the tank). They are driven by an electric motor (max. 3000 rpm) and have a capacity that varies (depending on the model) from 6 to 170 m3/h, and can transport liquids with a head of to 40 m.
DEBEM vertical centrifugal pumps do not use internal mechanical seals, so problems associated with wear are largely excluded. Vertical centrifugal pumps operate thanks to an impeller that, rotating at a given speed, creates suction in the central air duct and supply to the peripheral air duct through the centrifugal effect. The pumps are equipped with open impellers, towith the help of vertical pumps of the IM series it is possible to pump (in a continuous flow) very dirty liquids with a maximum viscosity of to 500 cP (at 20°C) and with possible solid inclusions in the form of a suspension of small sizes.
