Impeller:
The impeller for PEMO pumps made of super-strength steel can be made of the following materials:
- Hardalla alloy or other high-strength steel.
The number of blades (vanes) depends on the pump model, its size and the characteristics of the pumped liquid.
Seal type:
PEMO pumps made of super-strong steel have several types of seals:
- Rubberized removable;
- Single mechanical seal;
- Double mechanical seal;
- All mechanical seals in horizontal pumps are made of tungsten carbide (Widia) or silicon dioxide carbide.
Features:
- Low maintenance costs;
- Connection, pump-motor: V-belts or flexible coaxial connection (coupling);
- All mechanical seals are made of silicon dioxide or tungsten carbide (widia);
- Lubrication of the 2 mechanical seals can be done with flushing water at normal pressure or with oil using a closed circuit;
- Bearing lubrication with oil only in horizontal versions;
- The motor operation is usually controlled and monitored using an inverter.
Depending on the nature of the pumped liquids, the presence of highly abrasive substances in their composition, PEMO can manufacture pumps with elements that are subject to contact with liquids from special alloys, such as Hastelloy or other suitable in terms of their properties.
Pumps in this design can be manufactured in almost the entire range of sizes and configurations.
